AT HIS INSTALLATION AS DISTRICT GOVERNOR
ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 9110, NIGERIA

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, I wish to state that no Government or individual no matter how benevolent can single handedly solve all the problems we have in the world but the only thing we can do whether as an individual or collectively is to contribute our quota towards making a difference in the lives of others. That is exactly what I request of you today! Please do not leave this venue without contributing towards making a difference in the world.

Finally, I give thanks to Almighty God who has made all things possible.

It is imperative that I register my profound gratitude to Past District Governors for their guidance and wise counsel. They mentored me and provided me with the opportunities for service at the District Level. The grooming of a man is a        duty we claim. I am standing on the shoulders of these giants. They have maintained the District with action and vision. I thank and appreciate all other District Leaders.

Now, to my home club, the Rotary Club of Gbagada. I cannot thank the members enough for their belief in me and their overwhelming support right from the nomination stage to this very moment. Rotary Club of Gbagada is made up of wonderful people. I appreciate you all. To other clubs in the district, I appreciate your support and tremendous solidarity, I thank you very much.

I must thank all the dignitaries that have graced this occasion. I cannot mention you all individually but I am sincerely grateful. I feel greatly honoured by our most amiable Doyen of Rotary International District 9110 Past District Governor, Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi for accepting to chair this occasion despite his busy schedule. I cannot quantify the amount of support I received from him. I am indeed grateful for all your assistance.

I also appreciate the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) for identifying with us by sending a representative to grace this occasion. We also thank you for your cooperation with in the past in our projects and look forward to even more in the coming months and years.

Our Royal Father, Your Royal Highness Oba Akiolu, present here today, I am very grateful to you and your retinue of Chiefs. May your reign be long and remain peaceful.

Our Guest Speaker, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu Esq. SAN the brilliant lawyer, and President of the Nigerian Bar Association an embodiment of humility and a reliable friend in need.
         
My family members had been of tremendous support and source of encouragement. I thank you all for your contributions to the success of this occasion.

The greatest blessing anyone prays for is his family. I thank my dear wife , Bimbo who has given me comfort and support I needed to function as a father, husband and a Rotarian. To my children, I say thank you for your understanding.
         
I am indebted to you all and I can only repay by giving back to Rotary, my heart.

Please give me your hands my friends, as Rotary is Good.

Rotary is good for you my friends. To the ill it says take up thy bed and walk, to the blind it restores sight, and to the thirsty it gives water. It prolongs the life of hundreds and thousands of men and women. Rotary makes for health and happiness. Let us join those hands together to make a difference in our society and in our world. Alone we can do plenty; together we can do so much more. “Building Communities, Bridging Continents”
